Survivorship and Menopause After Radiation Therapy
Advancing survivorship care and improving life after cancer treatment. We focus on quality of life for women — including menopause symptoms, bone health, and long-term wellness.
A research initiative started at the University of Kentucky / Markey Cancer Center.

Our mission is to improve survivorship care for women treated with pelvic radiation by addressing menopause, pelvic pain, and bone health — and by generating evidence that supports better, more personalized care.
Hormone therapy and other survivorship interventions are often safe and could significantly improve quality of life — yet they are routinely overlooked. Our work aims to close this gap through research, education, and patient-centered care.
